Come, and let Vrindavan do what only Vrindavan can do.

The Vrindavan Immersion Retreat invites you to go deeper into sravanam, kirtanam and smaranam — hearing, chanting, and remembering the Lord. Not as separate practices, but as one living immersion. Here, at the foothills of Sri Giriraja Govardhan, in the very land where Krishna walked, played, and revealed His heart to Srimati Radharani, this immersion comes alive.

“How wonderful it is that simply by residing in Vrindavana even for one day, one can achieve a transcendental loving attitude toward the Supreme Personality of Godhead.”

— Garga Samhita, quoted by Srila Prabhupada in Nectar of Devotion

The Unfolding

the unfolding image

For a few precious days, we set the world aside. We gather in sanga, the warm company of like-minded devotees, guided by experienced teachers. We hear katha that opens the heart. We sing kirtan that carries us into the presence of the Lord. And we learn, gently and patiently, to meditate on Him — not as a technique, but as love slowly awakening.

This is a bhakti-intensive retreat. It is for anyone who feels the pull to simply absorb themselves in Krishna: His name, His form, His qualities, His pastimes. Here, in the one place on earth made for exactly that.

The Setting

Our retreat unfolds in the peaceful atmosphere of the ISKCON Govardhan Retreat Center, a place of quiet beauty made for going inward.

Some of our classes happen right beside Giriraja Mountain itself. As we hear the pastimes of Krishna, and sing kirtan in his very presence, we feel a shower of mercy pouring gently down on us.
